ASSOCIATION RULES

1. NAME    
The association shall be called the Cookley Playing Fields Association

2. OBJECTS
The objects of the association is to encourage the use of the fields for the purposes of physical training and recreation and social moral and intellectual development through the medium of recreation and sport and games of all kinds which may be found expedient for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Ecclesiastical District of Cookley in the Parish of Wolverley in the County of Worcester and its immediate vicinity without distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions. It shall be responsible for the booking of the fields and the arrangement of social activities for these said inhabitants.

3. STATUS OF RULES
These rules (the Association Rules) form a binding agreement between each member of the Club.
 
4. RULES AND REGULATIONS
1) All Football Clubs which are members of Cookley Playing Fields Association shall have membership of The Football Association. The Rules and Regulations of The Football Association Limited and parent County Association and any League or Competition to which the Clubs are affiliated for the time being shall be deemed to be incorporated into the Rules.
2) No alteration to the Association Rules shall be effective without prior written approval by the parent Football Association
3) The Club will also abide by The Football Association’s Child Protection Policies and Procedures, Codes of Conduct and the Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discrimination Policy

5. CLUB MEMBERSHlP
1) The membership of the Association from time to time shall be those clubs listed in the register of members (the Membership Register) which shall be maintained by the Secretary.
2) Any club which wishes to be a member must apply on the Membership Application Form and deliver it to the Association. Electing to membership shall be at the sole discretion of the Association Committee. Membership shall become effective upon a club’s name being entered in the Membership Register.
    In the event of a club’s resignation or expulsion, the name of that club shall be removed from the Membership Register.

6. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE
l) An annual fee payable by each club shall be determined from time to time by the Association Committee. Any fee shall be payable on a successful application for membership and annually by each club. Fees shall not be repayable.
2) The Association Committee shall have the authority to levy further subscription from the clubs as are reasonably necessary to fulfil the objects of the Association.
