The Internet Café. 

Congratulations to Jim Lea who runs our internet cafe for receiving a Digital Inclusion Good Practice Award at the recent Go On Worcestershire Conference. This recognises his hard work in running the computer class over the last 5 years. His efforts have led to many villagers now being competent in using a computer. 

For those wanting anything to do with computing - beginners or experienced -come along and find out what Jim can do for you

Cookley Village Hall & Sports Club has Superfast broadband .

We have now been upgraded to superfast broadband with download speeds of up to 40Mb/s.

Youth Club

The upstairs space in the hall  has now been converted into an area for a youth club . The club has  a table football, a pool table and a table tennis table together with a  a lounge area, a gaming area and a small stage.

The youth club runs on Thursday evenings with the 10-13 age group on Thursday from 5.30pm - 7.00pm and the 13-16/17 from 7.00pm - 8.30pm. We have a few volunteers to help run it but always grateful for any more help. For further details contact Andrea Holmes on 07825 5017915     

Off Peak Promotion - reduced prices for Village Hall hire

The Hall and MR2 are being offered at a reduced rate for functions on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons only. 

For Friday evening Hall and MR2 will cost £120 (£96 for Cookley and Caunsall residents) instead of £185.

For Sunday afternoon Hall and MR2 will cost £25/hour (£20 for Cookley and Caunsall residents) with a £20 addition if you need the large circular or rectangular tables setting out.

Sports Club - membership
The Sports Club membership is now £7.00 for the year for everyone over 16. Look under the "Membership Facilities" page to download a membership form.
Fridays the club opens at the earlier time of 2.00pm. A prize draw for members takes place during Friday evening.

BMX track
Please note that radio controlled cars and scooters are not allowed to use the facility as we have been told by the experts who renovated it that those types of vehicles will damage the surface.
